We are Shaun 31 and Kazuo (also known as Boon) 34, best friends, colleagues, born and bred in Penang Island, Malaysia. Born in the month of Dec and as Sagitarians, we are naturally restless, need to feel free and like to participate in activities that can often be construed as dangerous. That said, we are also honest and responsible people with decent jobs in the field of semiconductor engineering currently attached to Avago Technologies. Besides our passion for hiking and mountain climbing, we are also into running, backpacking, traveling and photography. The reason we started this website is because we found that there is a lack of information and guidance for people attempting to climb Mount Kinabalu. Having experienced Kinabalu before in 2008 and during the planning for our 2nd attempt in 2011, we still feel that there is insufficient information to guide people especially newbies and beginners. Therefore we hope to educate people so they may be able to fully discover and enjoy this experience thoroughly.
